Italy’s dynamic new duo Kasbah Zoo, combine brilliantly with fellow countryman Oniwax, on the latest instalment in the MOOD Records series set for release on 23^rd June. Between Kasbah Zoo and Oniwax, this trio of producer’s previous tracks have been supported by some of the biggest artists in the scene like Marco Carola, Loco Dice, Carl Cox, Ricardo Villalobos, and so their debut on Nicole Moudaber’s MOOD Records makes perfect sense and does not disappoint.

‘SelFish’ opens proceedings in energetic fashion and is a high-octane journey, with various builds and drops packed full of rugged sounds and chopped up vocal snippets. ‘Somebody’ sees an adjustment in style and is characterised by its tribal groove, cleverly manipulated vocals and an array of changing subtle sounds and rhythmic nuances.  ‘New Era’ has a notably more restrained beat, which heavily features an elastic bass line, echoing synths, rounding off the EP in warm fashion.

As would be expected from three of the scenes brightest up-and-coming talents, Kasbah Zoo and Oniwax have delivered a powerful and original EP of the finest techno, perfectly suited to MOOD Records.
