For nearly 40 years, Vince Giordano and his band The Nighthawks have carried the torch for hot jazz and popular songs from the 1920s and '30s. Generations of musicians and music lovers regard Vince as the reigning expert in this genre.

Now Vince is the subject of a feature documentary, Vince Giordano—There's a Future in the Past, and with help from you and jazz fans worldwide, the film could be completed in 2014.

The filmmakers, Dave Davidson and Amber Edwards of Hudson West Productions, have been shooting Vince and the band since 2012. They have hundreds of hours of footage and are ready for the next stage: post-production.

Dave and Amber need $168,000 to finish the film, and they are turning to Vince's admirers from around the world to get across the finish line.

They’re doing this through a 6 week crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo. (By the way, Hudson West Productions is a non-profit organization, and your donations are tax-deductible.)
