CZB: What were you doing when 9/11 happened and what did you feel when you found out what was happening?

Vonda Shepard: I was sleeping when 9/11 happened. I was home in L.A., thankfully. I was with Mitchell. I remember feeling overwhelming shock when I saw the images on the T.V. We watched the second building go down as it was happening. Pretty frightening. I called friends in New York, also my dad, who lives there. My cousin saw some of this upclose.

It was a terrible thing to have happen.
