From 21 – 24 September, this year’s Reeperbahn Festival will present more than 700 events spanning a range of genres in locations around Hamburg’s Reeperbahn. It boasts a broad spectrum of 450 emerging artists and in addition to this, the festival programme includes events in the fields of fine art, film, and literature.

The Reeperbahn Festival Conference programme is designed for professionals active in the music and creative digital industries and features sessions, showcases, networking events, or awards ceremonies. We are looking forward to welcoming more than 250 international speakers who will take part in more than 100 conference sessions.

The festival’s partner country in 2016 is the Netherlands and we will spotlight the Dutch music scene in concerts, sessions, showcases, and networking events.

Of course, we’re equally thrilled about our tried and tested programmes and partners, such as the VUT Indie Days, the NEXT Conference, the wide-ranging Synch & Brands series, and Startups@Reeperbahn, expanding and enriching the festival programme.
Furthermore there’s two new platforms to discover: "Education and Training @ Reeperbahn" will look at today’s education for jobs in the creative industries. For „The State of Modern Classical Music“ we’ve prepared a package of showcases, receptions, and sessions that present a wide range of today’s classical music and address topics relevant to the genre.

Besides the extensive conference programme of 230 events Reeperbahn Festival offers more than 450 concerts on and around the Reeperbahn. Here is a selection of this year's bands and solo artists:
