Having moved with the times he has morphed to ride the wave of changing styles while always keeping his distinct powerful voice loud and clear. His lyrical frankness and honest portrayals of everyday life, setting him aside from many mainstream Hip-Hop acts and allowing him complete artistic independence.
Since his 2001 debut Ty has released 4 full-length albums and 2 EPs gaining international acclaim and a Mercury Prize nomination. With a new album‘Work of Heart’ penciled for next year on Tru Thoughts his live shows are as powerful as his content so this is not to be missed.
