GARY LUCAS just returned from a successful European tour which took him to Amsterdam, Paris, Ljubljana, Venice, Vienna, and Bath England,

where he finished recording his new duo project with Peter Hammill (Van Der Graaf Generator).

Gary's new book "Touched By Grace--My Time with Jeff Buckley" is published this fall in the UK and US by Jawbone Press,

after publication by Arcana in Italy last year, where it received excellent reviews:

A new solo album, "Gary Lucas Cinefantastique", is released this fall through Brooklyn-based Northern Spy Records,

featuring Gary's solo arrangements of music from the films of Fellini, Hitchcock, Herzog, and other greats.

The album also features excerpts of Gary's score for the 1931 Spanish "Dracula"--which he performs next at the Jerusalem Film Festival July 6th--

and for Rene Clair's 1924 "Entr'acte" , commissioned by the Film Society of Lincoln Center.
