ITALIAN DUO MACROMISM GRACE THE THIRD MOOD RECORDS EP

After the considerable success of MOOD Records initial output, Nicole Moudaber’s imprint continues its fine form in 2013 with a third release courtesy of fast-rising Italian duo Macromism on the ‘Tooler’ EP.

Mattia Saviolo and Eugenio Zampieri have been making waves with their productions that take in a range of styles and demonstrate their versatility in the studio. The spotlight shone brightly on them when they released the “Maybe 64” EP for Polar Noise and “Inmotion Music” and “Groover” on Carlo Lio’s Rawthentic. This early success continued with subsequent releases in 2012 on the likes of Break New Soil, Suara, Kling Klong, Kiara and SCI+TEC. As such their releases have found the way into the record bags of Dubfire, Butch, Loco Dice, and tINI.

All three tracks on the ‘Tooler EP’ showcase the deep and hypnotic sounds that MOOD Records is synonymous with. From the brooding melodies on opener ‘Claymore’, to the distorted rhythm of ‘Tooler’ to the deadly dancefloor groove of ‘Walking Line’, the ‘Tooler EP’ expertly demonstrates the range of sounds played and supported by Nicole Moudaber.
