Combining Grimus' signature alt rock sound with hard, Daft Punk-esque grinding synths, "Vanity" again proves that new Romanian rock & roll is a real contender. As the term "Romanian New Wave" has been used to describe the rise and recognition of film, it's now being used to describe music and this is the sharp end - proof that things are changing, not everything stays the same and Grimus leads the pack. As the band takes another step forward, "Vanity" is the second single from Grimus' eagerly anticipated second album: "Egretta", due for release in Romania in October 2011.
