LA-based band White China have released a brand new taster of their upcoming sophomore EP, titled 'II'. Following their first single 'Blackout', which granted them a spot on Spotify's 'Hot New Bands' playlist, 'Don't Say Anything' is yet another captivating track that serves as an attempt to stop time and keep the listener in those first moments of a new relationship, when everything is still hanging in the balance.

As singer Gianluca Buccellati puts it himself, "She was unpredictable. Most of the time I didn't know what we were, but whatever it was, I was okay with it. I never wanted to say too much, and neither did she. I wrote this song at a time when there were still questions. At a time when answers would only make things too complex."

The song is another testament to the band's songwriting and production skills, whose previous work has drawn comparisons to the likes of Mac Demarco,The Strokes and Animal Collective.

If you haven't heard of White China yet, you are most likely familiar with Gianluca's sound print as his previous production work includes artists like Tei She, Arlo Parks, TENDER and Colouring. And while production is a big part of his music career, White China is his outlet and playground. As he explains,White China is an opportunity for me to express myself and go inwards.
