RO // Continuum – concert de muzică experimentală, Antez (FR)
„Bazele acestui performance este de a cânta în simpatie cu structura de rezonanță a sălii, sculptat de fiecare data în concordanță cu arhitectura sa specific singular. Conceptul producÈ›iei rămâne deschis până la ultimul moment, folosindu-se exclusiv de proceduri È™i metode acustice produse de către miÈ™carea corpului. Prima inspiraÈ›ie de a produce un sunet continuu cu un instrument de percuÈ›ie s-a dezvoltat printr-un proces de cercetare asupra calității acustice a spaÈ›iului de joc. Folosindu-mă de diverse obiecte am adaptat această piesă pe o tobă, care funcÈ›ionează ca È™i un amplificator vibraÈ›ional. Pe parcursul performance-ului dezvolt o afinitate intima cu materiaIele în vibraÈ›ie. Aceste vibraÈ›ii sunt evaluate de trup pe diferite nivele, de a putea coordona posturi È™i miÈ™cări într-un fel în care acestea încep să vibreze. Pentru a da viață acestor vibraÈ›ii, folosesc din 2008 metoda circumambulaÈ›iei. De multe ori sunetele sunt comparate cu anumite sunete produse de sintetizatori. Defapt sunetele acustice depend foarte mult de calitatea reflective a suprafeÈ›elor din jur, È™i de volumul spaÈ›iului în care are loc performance-ul” (Antez).

„A performance alapját az a törekvés képezi, hogy összhangba kerüljek az elÅ‘adásnak otthont adó terem rezonanciastruktúrájával, hogy minden egyes alkalommal a terem építészeti egyediségének megfelelÅ‘en modelláljam újra a hangzást. Az elÅ‘adás az utolsó pillanatig konceptuálisan nyitott marad, kizárólag akusztikus hangképzési eljárásokat és módszereket alkalmaz, melyeket saját testem mozgásával hozok létre. Az ötlet, hogy egyetlen folyamatos hangot hozzak létre egy ütÅ‘hangszeren eredetileg egy kutatási folyamat során jutott eszembe, melynek során a játéktér akusztikus jellemzÅ‘ire figyeltem. KülönbözÅ‘, az utazásaim és rezidenciáim során összegyűjtött tárgyakat felhasználva egyetlen nagy, rezgésfelerÅ‘sítÅ‘ként működÅ‘ dobra adaptáltam a művet. Az elÅ‘adás során bensÅ‘séges affinitást fejlesztek ki a rezgésben levÅ‘ anyagokkal. KülönbözÅ‘ szinteken érzékelem ezeket a rezgéseket a testemben, és úgy irányítom a mozgásomat és testtartásomat, hogy a testem is rezonálni kezdjen. Hogy életet adjak ezeknek a rezgéseknek, 2008 óta a körmozgás módszerét alkalmazom. A hangzás, amelyet létrehozok sokak szerint bizonyos szintetizátorhangokra hasonlít. Ez a hangzás azonban akusztikus, megszólaltatása és jellege a környezet hangvisszaverÅ‘ felületein, valamint a játéktér méretein múlik” (Antez).

“The basis of this performance is to play the sympathies of the room's resonant structure, sculpted each time anew according to its architectural singularity. The concept of the show remains mutable to the last moment, using exclusively acoustic procedures and methods of production which are generated by the movements of my body. My first inspiration to produce a continuous sound with a percussive instrument evolved through an investigative process of the acoustic qualities of the performance space. I was picking up various objects and implements over my travel tours, and in my working residencies, I have adapted this piece to be played on a large drum, which is used as a vibrational amplifier. I develop an intimate affinity with the materials in vibration. I have to evaluate these vibrations in my body at different levels, to be able to coordinate my postures and movements, and thus put them in vibration. For give life to these vibrations I have used, since 2008, circumnambulation. My sounds are often compared to certain sounds produced by synthesizers. However my acoustic sounds depend of the reflective quality of surrounding surfaces, and on the volume of the performance space itself” (Antez).
