Troy Carter and Epic Record President’s Sylvia Rhone will respectively address Midem's delegates for the very first time in June, in Cannes, as true leaders of today’s music industry.

A music manager and entrepreneur with a glittering track record, Troy Carter is an exemplar of the world-leading entrepreneurs crossing music and innovation taking to the Midem stage. As the first African-American woman to lead a major record label, Sylvia Rhone will share insights from her illustrious career.

Celebrating its 5th edition, the Midem Artist Accelerator (MAA) programme this year -presented by Amuse - has seen a record number of submissions, with a 35% increase on 2018, including entries from 24 new countries.

Midem has now revealed the 11 finalists of the international music career booster to fast-track talent on the world stage. All of them will perform live on the Midem Beach in Cannes, and will benefit from a tailored programme during the tradeshow, including coaching sessions and unique networking opportunities.
