TEYANA TAYLOR launched her album K.T.S.E. (Keep That Same Energy) over the weekend. It concludes the last of five Kanye West-produced projects released in the past month, following Pusha T's Daytona, Kanye's ye and Kids See Ghosts, and Nas' Nasir.
K.T.S.E. was debuted via a live-streamed release party in LA on Thursday night and was due out on Friday June 22, however in Kanye fashion... the much-hyped album dropped much later on Friday night, but proved well worth the wait.
Teyana's first full-length project truly repositions her as a solo artist in her own and R&B torchbearer of the G.O.O.D. crew, with features from Kanye, Ty Dolla Sign, and Mykki Blanco to back it. Rolling Stone writes, "Thanks to Taylor's new direction, K.T.S.E. ends up being the most fun of any of G.O.O.D. Music's recent releases."
