Finnish messenger of melcanholy and death Hautajaisyö (Funeral Night) was formed in 2014. ”Matkalla Kohti Hautaa” album is released February 2nd 2018 by Inverse Records. Hautajaisyö plays melodic death metal and melancholy thrash metal. You have great riffs, heavy drumming and a hole lot of darkness in the music. Vocals are in finnish and sung with a low growl. Lyrics tell sad storys about life, death, love, failure and mental problems. Hautajaisyö is not a ”basic” metal band, but rather challenges what you can do in metal. Their music videos are sad tales of human nature, eutanasia and domestic violence. Usually the horrors of normal life is more terrifying than anything a human can invent.
