2015 was a very busy year indeed for Gary Lucas--including
performing multiple solo projects over 4 nights as Artist in Residence at Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Hall, including Gary's new live score for "Frankenstein" (1931, d. James Whale)
receiving a Lifetime Achievement Award at the Premio Ciampi Festival in Tuscany, named for one of Italy's most beloved songwriters;
receiving the U.S. Counsel General in Milan's Award for Cultural Diplomacy in Milano over the course of three separate tours of Italy last year;
touring Australia over 6 shows before 6000 folks with Gods and Monsters, as Music Director of the multi-media concert show "A State of Grace: The Music of Tim and Jeff Buckley";
performing by invitation of the U.S. Embassy in Mexico City a Masterclass and Solo Concert for disadvantaged children at Biblioteca Benjamin Franklin (his second appearance there),
and a charity concert for disadvantaged children in Sotogrande Spain
performing marathon solo acoustic shows in Venice, London, and at the "Moon in June Festival" in Umbria
