Damien began his career as one-half of young hip-hop violin duo, Nuttin but Stringz, as seen on America's Got Talent. An unceremonious split with his brother after ten years, led Damien to put down the violin and seemingly end his career as an artist. In the summer of 2012 however, Damien created his first solo albumSensual Melodies in the basement of his mother's home. The album put Damien back in the forefront as one of the world's top violinists, selling out two U.S. national tours and gaining spots on the iTunes 100 and Billboard charts.
Today Escobar's solo career is moving at lightning speed. Damien is currently promoting his newest single, "Get Up And Dance," which is the lead single from his second solo album entitled Boundless, composed of entirely originally produced material. His single "Freedom" premiered at #15 on the iTunes dance charts and subsequently broke the iTunes Hot 100 Top 10.
Damien has multiple solo headliner performances under his belt performing everywhere from major award shows, to galas and corporate concerts. Damien has also earned features and interviews on every major TV network and performed at the White House before the President.
