Focus

Eurosonic Noorderslag is preparing for its 30th edition with the Central East European regions as the focus for 2016. Each year a different country is highlighted in order to showcase the diversity of musical talent across Europe. We are delighted to announce that in 2016, 14 CEE countries will be the focus region of the next edition.

European Border Breakers Awards

On the opening evening of Eurosonic Noorderslag 10 European acts will receive a European Border Breakers Award (EBBA). The winners are: Álvaro Soler, Aurora, Carnival Youth, Christine and the Queens, Kovacs, Oscar and the Wolf, Robin Schulz, Seinabo Sey, Soak, Years & Years. The winner of the popular vote will be awarded the prestigiouspublic choice award on the night of the show.

Conference

The Eurosonic Noorderslag Conference offers a daytime conference programme featuring 150 panels, keynote speakers, interviews, workshops, and dinners, as well as pitches, parties and meetings covering the latest developments in the international music, media and interactive industries.

EPIC (European Production & Innovation Conference)

EPIC focuses on production and innovation at festivals and music venues. The event features panel discussions, presentations, and workshop. EPIC will take place in the Hampshire Hotel, a 2-minute stroll from main conference centre, De Oosterpoort.

European Festival Awards 2015

Following a sold-out 2015 edition, the European Festival Awards will return to open Eurosonic Noorderslag in style for the sixth consecutive year, on Wednesday January 13, 2016 at De Oosterpoort. This year saw over 800,000 votes cast by fans from 50 different European countries.
